Bluewater boats are renowned for the quality of their vessels and this one left the yard in 2006 having been solidly built on a 12.5mm base plate, with 6mm sides and 5m cabin.
The boat is fitted out with quality equipment and finishing is to the high standard you would expect from Bluewater.
The Luxemotor lines are well reproduced and the overall effect is of a very pretty, yet sturdy residential cruising barge.
A great combination of classic looks with modern electrical, mechanical and domestic equipment.

Classic wheelhouse with central helm for ease steering and doors either side to facilitate mooring and lock work. 360° visibility is excellent and headroom up to an impressive 2.1m.
To starboard stairs gives access to the galley saloon. A bright and spacious convivial area, whether cooking, relaxing or entertaining.
Light woodwork and plenty of natural light coupled to a headroom of 1.95m gives a real feeling of wellbeing.
The galley has an impressive amount of workspace and work tops with storage and equipment to please the most demanding of chefs. Plus, as the galley and saloon are all in one open plan the chef is not banished or excommunicated whilst preparing your favourite food.
Aft of the galley a corridor to port gives access to the engine room and aft cabin. The aft cabin has a walk-around double bed 1.9m x 1.4m, headroom of up to 2m, plenty of natural light and an ensuite heads and washbasin.
The engine room is accessed by a full height door and is spacious and well laid out making most maintenance a breeze. Forward of the saloon area is another corridor with first the main bathroom (yes BATHROOM) to starboard with bath, electric WC and washbasin.
Finally the forward (or main) cabin with another walk around bed 1.9 x 1.4 headroom of 2m cupboards and wardrobes. The whole accommodation exudes a feeling of relaxed comfort and quality.
Heating is from radiators fired by an 11.6Kw diesel boiler. Hot water from the engine or boiler or electric immersion. AC from a portable AC unit.
Insulation by sprayed polyurethane foam. Mains electricity from shore power, generator and inverter.

It was a real pleasure to discover this nicely looked after example of a quality Bluewater Luxemotor barge. A comfortable liveaboard barge of dimensions that allow easy cruising without sacrificing domestic comforts.
The vessel has already cruised the whole length of the Canal du Midi and tackles the Rhone with ease. A number of extras such as a bicycle, a Karcher pressure washer, a Weber gas BBQ, a Vevor pic-nic fridge and more are included in the sale.
The outboard motor seen in the engine room VR image is not included in the sale.
