It can be said that the Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse MY was and still is their most popular pilothouse model with nearly 400 built. With three staterooms, comfortable pilothouse, large cockpit and spacious flybridge, it is a great design for all season cruising in the Pacific Northwest.

The cockpit has a hardtop with canvas enclosure, padded coaming, and a ladder for access to the flybridge. The flybridge has wraparound seating on the port and starboard side, while the helm is offset to port. Aft of the flybridge seating, there is a cradle and davit for the tender.

The foredeck can be accessed by sliding pilothouse doors on either side. There is built-in bow seating on the foredeck - perfect for taking in the view on the sunny Northwest days!

Broker's Comments

Bayliner 4588-series boats have always been popular for the space and amenities they offer at an attractive price point. The pilothouse is large with doors out both sides plus it offers great visibility. There are three cabins and two heads which give lots of room for family and guests. This boat has been used an average of 80 hours per year since new and would certainly qualify as "lightly used". She's been boathouse-kept since 1999 so it's a dry boat. The gel coat still shines, there aren't any blisters on the window frames, it appears as a well-kept boat. I have viewed a lot of 4588's and this one would be considered in above average condition, plus it's fairly priced in the market. Be sure to come take a look at this one before making a purchase decision.
