A Northwest Classic, this large motoryacht was built in Canada by the McQueen Boat Works yard to a design by Seattle naval architect Ed Monk. This is an excellent example of the type, and a fine choice for long distance West Coast cruising.
Reliable twin Detroit 235 HP diesels provide ample power for coastal voyaging and maneuverability in tight harbors, plus, thrusters are installed bow and stern. The hull is carvel planked and built to heavy duty standards with some of the best wood ever available on the West Coast. The boat has been well maintained over the years and preserved in original condition for interior design features and fixtures.
There's an Onan 15 KW generator aboard and diesel boiler fired hydronic heating throughout the boat. The battery bank voltage (12v, 24v and 32v) provides ample power for the windlass, thrusters and other demanding systems.
As a choice for a liveaboard vessel you would be hard pressed to find one with the space, layout, outside visibility, and robust systems aboard. The hydronic heating keeps the interior dry and warm dockside, underway or at anchor. Full size appliances and a domestic-size water heater make for a comfortable home afloat.
The boat is regularly hauled out and periodically surveyed for condition. It's very much worth a look if you are interested in a classic of the type. Stop by our sales dock for a viewing or contact the listing broker for further details and a scheduled showing.
