Broker's Comments
This Maxum 2700SCR appears to be a very tidy example of these poplar and capable sports cruisers.
Her engine was replaced with a new long block in Jan 23 and she starts and runs very nicely indeed. She also has a new starter motor, canopy and batteries. She was last antifouled in November 2022 and had her outdrive serviced too, with new anodes also fitted.
She is a very practical boat with smart and flexible quality accommodation including a forward double berth and saloon. The dining area is opposite the compact yet functional galley which has spirit stove, fridge and microwave, plus a large under sole double cabin space. There is a good sized heads and shower room to holding tank.
She has mains shore power with battery charger and her upholstery looks to be in excellent order throughout.
On the rivers this boat should use about 3L per hour and run in almost total silence with the newly fitted engine. In open water she will be fast enough for most people and a huge amount of fun.
If you are looking for a sociable, clean and tidy sports cruiser with sparkling performance that will turn heads, then this boat will be just the ticket.
