Broker's Comments

This boat creates a lovely impression the moment you walk onboard. She is a real classic beauty and more importantly she appears to be in excellent condition.

In the early 1960's Searider designed the models ranging from 9 to 22 metres. This Searider 17m was the only one ever built. I expect that today she still looks exactly how she did when completed in 1967.

I took a good look at the hull around the engines and I was totally surprised at how clean it all looked. I could not see any area that may have concerned me.

The previous owner treasured her for over 35 years. The new owner only bought her recently but due to unforeseen circumstances has had to put her back on the market.

An out of water survey was done on the 24th March 2023, that found no issues at all other than the usual recommendations that have all been addressed.

In May 2024 she was lifted for external maintenance. Topside and underside were sanded and primed and repainted.
