Broker's Comments
The Colvic Watson 28 Motor Sailor is a boat with a very good reputation for their good build quality and sea-keeping abilities.
This particular model has a bow sprit and good size bathing platform which add a little to her length overall.
Unfortunately, the current owner of this boat has not been able to keep on top of her maintenance due to health reasons. As a result, over the winter, she has suffered internally with a leak having developed somewhere from her coachroof. Rainwater has built up inside the bilge of the vessel and has caused internal damage as can be seen in the pictures.
She is, therefore, in need of some urgent attention from her new owner. The current owner has reflected the need for the internal repairs to be undertaken in her selling price.
Also included with this boat is a 2.7 metre semi-rigid inflatable tender with a 2.5 HP outboard engine.
The owner informs us that the standing rigging was replaced in 2022.
