The Barrel Back is a fast and luxurious classic built by WBW in 2018/19 inspired by the Chris Craft and Garwoods of the Nineteen Thirties, Forties and Fifties.

Wooden Boat Workshop in Portugal (WBW) have a history of creating contemporary classics in the style of the originals and this Chris Craft Barrel Back represents a great opportunity to own a new one without the problems and costs of restoring an old one, at a price that you couldn't even build one for!

Constructed using mahogany and modern epoxy resins making a rugged and life-long craft which cared for correctly should last for generations. Even her upholstery has deep cushions for comfort and is all finished in weatherproof Sky Leather.

This model has a proven ability for coastal and lake alike and is fitted with hydraulic steering and a Mercruiser V6 200 HP petrol engine with a ZF45A gearbox providing plenty of power and good fuel economy.
