Commentaires du Broker
Dufours have an excellent reputation for fast cruising and being easy to handle in light or challenging conditions. The cockpit is spacious with plenty of space for crew, and having all lines coming back to the cockpit, she seems safe for single handed sailing.
This Dufour 38 is a beautiful all-round cruising yacht. She has been lovingly looked after by her current owner, who has kept her clean inside and out, and ensured her equipment and maintenance are up to date.
Inside, she has a spacious saloon with accommodation offering up to six berths in three double sleeping cabins. The large U-shaped settee with a separate central bench seat offers comfortable seating around the dining table. The settee also offers a further large berth if required. The linear galley also offers a very spacious safe cooking area.
Her hull has been stripped right back and re antifouled in 2024. Her standing rigging is 5 years old, sails 7 years old, and her Raymarine chart plotter and radar purchased new by the current owner.
Overall, this looks an excellent boat, where viewing is very recommended. She looks ideal to me for anyone wishing to have a good size family cruiser that is capable of any conditions, and spacious enough to spend long periods aboard.
