The Hunter Formula 28 was designed by Stephen Jones for regatta and club racing. When on circuit this boat does the job well, she can bring in the silverware!
This boat has had a lot of money spent on her in order to optimise the rating and make her easier to sail. Her IRC rating is 0.888.
She has been fitted with a new mast in 2019 with swept back spreaders which means there's no need for runners as on the original design. She has Harken blocks, Lewmar winches and an inboard Yanmar GM10 engine.
She is constructed from GRP and Kevlar with a lead keel and has been coppercoated.
This is a well presented boat, ready to jump on the circuit and collect some cups.
