Broker's Comments
I will start by stating the obvious and that is that this will not be the cheapest Freeman 22 you will find on the market, However i do feel that once you read on and appreciate just what you are getting for your money I do feel the asking price to be justified.
We have a boat owned by a boat builder that has undergone several refurbs during her life. Most recently she has had a new Beta Diesel engine, a Pump out toilet with holding tank, new upholstery, hot water via immersion heater and a calorifier, heating in saloon and cockpit, New wiring and instruments.
This boat was refurbished 2 years ago with 2 in mind and is absolutely ideal for a couple. She has the benefit of added stainless grab rails for much improved safety and even a stainless upright pole in the saloon which is very tastefully sited.
Out of the having been re painted in 2 pack epoxy based paint. Antifouled with 2 coats of tar varnish and antifoul. (05.09.13)
Removeable hardtop designed and fabricated by the previous owner. Good quality heavy duty stainless steel stanchions and supports.
Hot water, heating and shore power make her a true all year round boat.
Well equipped and benefitting from a 4 year old modern Beta diesel engine having done 500 hours.
She has a BSC until 2016 and is broads licensed until March 2014
We often say "ready to go" but It has never been more applicable in this case.
Ideal as a safe and reliable starter boat or for a retired couple who need a retreat on the river with no additional spending needed.
This is by no means a typical Freeman 22.
