Broker's Comments
We are pleased to be advertising this Hunter Ranger 265, which presents well and is a tidy example of these boats. These are a modern styled, small family yacht, with a lot of accommodation for their size and an easy to handle rig.
The interior is light and spacious, with plenty of windows and hatches. The saloon has plenty of seating and a drop leaf centre table. The forward small double berth is complimented by a double aft cabin and 2 singles in the saloon, and 6’ headroom and plenty of storage. The nice sized galley to starboard is opposite the navigation station and separate heads to port.
The hull form is reported to be stable and handles well, with self-tacking jib making it suitable for those new to sailing or a small family. The twin fin keels provide an ideal platform to explore the estuaries, rivers and coasts.
The current owner purchased the boat to sail around the UK and had prepared the boat to do this, however, due to mobility issues he has decided to sell, although she has been sailed from the South to the East coast and rivers.
If you would like any further information, or to request a personal viewing, please do contact our Boatshed Essex office and we would be pleased to help.
