Boatshed Brixham and Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Sealine SC38. Stepping onboard I was immediately struck by the amount of wood that Sealine have used throughout the boat. The cockpit is very well laid out with more than enough seating and this is good comfortable seating too. All too often seats seem to be an after thought on boats not really taking into account just how the area will be used. In this case you can sit with friends, talk and watch the BBQ at the same time. The engine bay is easily accessed and stepping down into the engine bay it is really easy to access the major items. The twin 300hp D4 will whip you along at a satisfying 34 knots.
As you might imagine for a boat of this age it is immaculate in the engine bay. However, it’s below decks in the main saloon and galley area that really sets this boat apart. The large overhead skylight floods the saloon with light and there are also large rectangular ports to let even more light in. The woodwork below is washed walnut and the cabin doors have that satisfying solid feel to them.
In summary I can do not better than quote Motor Boat Monthly whose verdict was –“Sealine's SC series is officially the most exciting thing to happen to sportscruisers in years.”
