This 2011 Helmsman Trawlers 38 / Mariner Yachts International 37 has an impressive cruising history.
The boat gives the impression of being much larger than its size implies with a very roomy interior and a design that includes a full-beam salon and an extended pilothouse that serves as a comfortable living and dining area in addition to its role as wheelhouse. The hull and deck of this 2018 Helmsman Trawlers 31 Sedan are readily recognized as derived from the Camano, but the interior, flybridge and construction methods are totally different. Many of the changes came from interviews with Camano owners, and include:
— A fixed helm seat
— A forward-facing companion seat.
— A larger sleeping area with a double berth
— A separate shower
— A covered aft deck
— A larger holding tank.
— A larger galley and refrigerator.
— A proper radar arch
All of these items were included in the Helmsman
31 plus a much better finished interior, flybridge and cockpit.
